LSA Diode

       LSA means Limited Space Charge Accumulation Diode. It is used as an oscillator.

1.Saliaent Features of LSA Diode

. It is a negative resistance device.

. Its bias voltage is in the centre of negative region.

. It will not permit formation of high field domain.

. Its frequency of oscillation depends only on the external circuit.

. It provides high power output.

. Its V-I characteristics is shown in Fig. 1.
